Artifact phases

artifact phases
The game starts with the Lanning phase. Then two players will play in a round which consists of 5 phases: action phase, combat phase, Laning phase, shopping phase, deployment phase. After each round, mana will be refreshed.

Action phase

Each player takes turn playing cards on their own board. After both players have passed their turn, the game moves to combat phase. During the action phase, each player has a timer which is extended through the match. Timer increases 2 minutes after the turn on the last lane.

Combat phase

All the improvements and heroes will attack an deal damage in this phase. The game will go continuously to other lanes and after the combat phase, each player will have time to buy items at the next phase.

Shopping Phase

Each player spends their gold on equipment or consumable items: health or mana at “secret shop” or their own shop.

Deployment Phase

During the deployment phase, each player will deploy their “ready to battle” heroes, which are ready to battle after death respawn time in the fountain (dead heroes will have to spend 2 turns in the fountain before they are ready to battle). Each board also has two creeps randomly summons in three lanes.

The victor is the person who destroys the opponent’s “Ancient”, which is exposed after the tower in one lane has been destroyed or the first person to destroy the first 2 towers.

With that being said, the game system is far from optimal, and it can be frustrating to play competitive when you are matching with trolls/leavers and get yourself into losing streak or elo hell. At Bountyboosting, we offer artifact boosting, you can check out the service here.
